Canon’s Problem Statement:

In 2024, Canon USA engaged Carnegie Mellon University to address the challenge of enhancing customer engagement with Whiz, a commercial robot vacuum. As a product designer, I collaborated closely with a dynamic team of Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Analysts to address the client’s problem statement:

How can Canon drive customer engagement so that users and customers realize the full benefits of the product?

The client said: Phenomenal Job!

Product Overview

WhizHub, a B2B user-centric Collaborative Work Management Platform that transforms Whiz from a tool into a team member.

Whiz, an AI-powered commercial collaborative robot vacuum that is primarily used in healthcare and education.

With our proposed solution of emphasizing Whiz’ role as team member, we are highlighting the collaborative efforts between users and Whiz. This approach shifts the focus from showcasing the robot's engineering accomplishments to celebrating users' success in achieving shared goals."
